Worship God | Only Discussing Work Without Communicating the Truth Is a Form of Service That Resists God
As the majority of leaders and workers at all levels of the church still have a very shallow understanding of the truth and are not clear on what substantive work to do to serve God, even if they discover some obvious problems they won’t be able to see through the substance of them. They only know how to follow rules in their work and don’t do things according to principles. When fulfilling their duties, they only discuss work and rarely communicate the truth or use the truth to resolve problems.
This shows that they are still not equipped with enough stature to use the truth to resolve problems. Though most leaders and workers are busy, the work they do doesn’t achieve any practical results for the life entry of God’s chosen people. Serving in this way won’t be able to lead God’s chosen people to enter into the truth and gain life, so how can they carry out God’s will? Simply doing things with your head and following rules in your work won’t be able to take people into the reality of God’s words no matter how many years you work for, and you yourself won’t enter into or gain the truth either. Isn’t this the way Paul served God? God’s intention is for leaders and workers of all levels to bring people into God’s words and enable them to gain truths, so that they can use these truths to solve difficulties and the issue of their corruption and thus enter into the reality of God’s words. What value does a person’s work have if it is out of touch with the truth and the work of the Holy Spirit? Working in such a way is no different to religious service! If people who serve God lead the church in this way, then aren’t they walking the same path as religious leaders? If you work in such a way, God’s chosen people won’t enter into and gain the truth no matter how many years you work. It’s like drawing water with a sieve! No wonder many people start complaining after fulfilling their duty for just a few years: “Just what can I gain from expending for God? God hasn’t given me any blessings!” This is the confession of a person who does not pursue the truth in doing their work. Through examining and trying to understand the situation, I am certain that most leaders and workers have not entered into the reality of the truth and what they communicate is almost all just letters and doctrines, without much reality. More than half their methods can be regarded as ways of just following rules; their preaching during meetings is also not communicating the truth and speaking of actual experiences, but merely repeating letters and doctrines. I’m amazed that they can still write a report every month! Based on their caliber and powers of comprehension, they should have understood some truths and have had some reality after believing in God for three to five years, but they haven’t gained anything. This is really disappointing. I understand from them that the work of the leaders of all levels in God’s house mostly involves discussing work and they very rarely communicate the truth. All they do in their work is make people follow rules. Church leaders of all levels have developed fixed ways to write their reports every month. It has totally become a regular pattern. Unbelievable! What results can you achieve from holding on to such methods? Who invented them? It is fully evident from these phenomena that many leaders carry out the work of the church through talking about doctrines and relying on following rules. This is sufficient to show that leaders at all levels of the church have not entered into the reality of the truth and really struggle to integrate the truth into their communications to resolve various kinds of work problems. This is because most of them can only identify obvious problems but cannot see through the substance of problems or know how to use the truth to resolve problems. This is directly related to the work of members of pastoral decision groups and district decision-making groups. This is sufficient to demonstrate that there are problems with the work styles of these group members. If people who serve God cannot see through the substance of problems and don’t know how to integrate them to God’s words and link them up with the truth, then they even more cannot use the truth to resolve problems. For instance, if many people in the church have their own conceptions and there are all sorts of revelations of corruption, which leaders at all levels see but can’t resolve, then I’m afraid the life entry difficulties of brothers and sisters will be even harder to resolve. If a person who is a leader at any level of the church cannot even resolve these two difficulties, then how will they be able to guide people to enter into God’s words and gain the truth? This really is doubtful. It can be said with certainty right now that many leaders and workers aren’t even clear on what “speaking doctrines” and “following rules” mean. If they really knew, then they wouldn’t be talking about doctrines and following rules all day. If these serious problems exist in the work of a leader at any level of the church, then it can be said for certain that they are not someone who has the truth or reality. How could the work of such a person lead God’s chosen people into the truth so they can be saved by God? Only if a leader has entered into the truth and has reality will they be able to guide God’s chosen people to enter into God’s words and gain the truth. If a leader does not have the truth and reality, how can the people they lead have the truth and reality? Leaders and workers at all levels of the church should self-reflect on their own work methods and the way they serve.
The work methods of many leaders and workers are too outdated and too conservative! They are like lifeless machines running with clockwork regularity. This is the inevitable outcome of working without having the truth. In fact, resolving any kind of problem involves the truth. No matter what work it is, it is done so that people can gain the truth. If a worker cannot see the relationship between various kinds of work, problems, and the truth, then they are a blind person, a person without the truth. When the blind walk, they rely on sticking to the rules and don’t have any flexibility. People without the truth work the way blind people stick to the rules when they walk, as though they have to stick to the rules in order to do it well. This is completely because they don’t have the truth. If a person possesses the truth, they will surely first see through problems and think about just what kind of problems they are when they work, and then see through the substance of the problems based on God’s words. And once they figure it out, they will communicate to others and explain the root of the problems, and also communicate to them how to use the truth to resolve these problems. Only then are they doing a good job. The work process is the process of using the truth to resolve problems. Only the process of using the truth to resolve problems is the process of guiding people into the truth. People cannot be guided into the truth unless the truth is used to resolve problems. The work of God’s house today is the work of using the truth to resolve the various kinds of fallacious views and conceptions people have. It is the work of using the truth to resolve all the corruptions that people reveal when fulfilling their duties. It is the work of using the truth to resolve people’s problems regarding dispositional change when entering into the truth. Therefore, the duty that one fulfills, no matter what it is, can’t be separated from using the truth to resolve problems. If a person fulfills their duty only to complete missions but not resolve problems, then they are a blind person. They aren’t able to resolve problems and moreover aren’t able to do a good job. Throughout the process of serving God, if a person is never able to use the truth to resolve problems, then they do not have the spiritual understanding and there is no way they can enter onto the right track to serving God. If a person still cannot use the truth to resolve problems after fulfilling their duty for several years, then they will not be able to be perfected by God. Such a person will never be perfected no matter how many years they work for. They can only be eliminated.
In order for all leaders and workers of God’s house to enter onto the right track to serving God as soon as possible, all leaders and workers are specially requested to integrate God’s words and communicate the truth when discussing work. In particular, when discussing work problems they must do a good job of communicating the truth, and they must practice this regardless of whether the communication is deep or shallow. Every time they are giving an account of the work, when it comes to related truths they must fellowship about them that need to be communicated and do their utmost to communicate them clearly. If there is someone who only discusses work and doesn’t fellowship about the truth, then you must be aware of them, and of course you should assist and support them. If someone is discovered to still only discuss work and not communicate the truth even after they have been working for a few years, and they are still unable to use the truth to resolve problems, then this proves that this person has already lost the work of the Holy Spirit and should be replaced. People who don’t fellowship about the truth surely won’t perform their work well, and people who can’t use the truth to resolve problems are not suited to be used by God. You must bear this point in mind. People who don’t have the truth certainly can’t serve God, because such people can’t resolve others’ corruption or any of their many difficulties and problems, and they can’t guide others to enter into the truth. People without the truth who serve God will only lead others to resist God and disobey God. Such people will also be punished by God because they themselves have become culprits who resist God.
Leaders and workers at all levels of the church should self-reflect on their own work and service, and must understand where the root of only discussing work but not communicating the truth lies, where the danger in doing so lies, and what the substance of the problem is. You still have to reflect on which areas in your work you are just following rules for, which areas you are just going through the motions in, how this should be resolved, and how it can be changed. Can writing reports every month bring people into the truth? Can it resolve the actual problems of corrupted mankind? Isn’t this just blind imitation? The request from the above for pastoral decision groups to write reports (once every half year) is absolutely necessary. Is there a need for all levels of the church to report once a month? In fact, it’s excusable if it’s once a quarter. Who invented “must report once a month”? This approach really is nauseating! If leaders at all levels wrote down every month which problems they used the truth to resolve and which conceptions they had resolved, then a monthly report would be necessary. If they could write down how the truth to being saved is understood, then that is indeed beneficial to people’s life growth. So, from now on writing monthly work reports is banned and only writing one report per quarter is permitted. Work progress reports for each month can be conveyed verbally. Change giving monthly reports to writing down monthly communications of actual examples of how the truth was used to resolve problems. This has real benefit to God’s chosen people. All of you still have to inspect what other rule-following approaches and inappropriate work-styles there are. If they are really not constructive for people’s progress then they should be banned. The main principle of doing church work is: Only measure it by whether or not it is effective in helping people enter into God’s words and gain the truth. If it is not effective at all, then it should be banned. The work of God’s house focuses on reality and results, not rules. If someone makes up a lot of rules, then it is certain that they are a person who doesn’t have the truth and are not a practical person. People suited to be used by God only focus on reality and results, never rules. If you can recognize this, it will be extremely beneficial to serving God. If you can all concentrate on reality in your work and focus on results as opposed to following rules, and you can integrate God’s words for all things and use the truth to resolve problems, then you have completely entered onto the right track to serving God and you will have hope of being perfected by God. Only then will you put God at ease. Right now, you are still very far off.
Leaders at all levels of the church should reflect on their own work. Some of your methods are surely still just ways of following rules and some are regarded as superficial ways. Such ways of serving God must be prohibited. The work of members of pastoral decision-making groups and regional decision-making groups should mainly be using the truth to resolve problems, with how to organize and practice specifically to achieve results as the guiding principle. Isn’t insisting on methods that are not effective to God’s chosen people entering into the truth harming them? Is this still not clear to you? When I work to guide people, it is mainly based on resolving problems through fellowshiping about the truth, and giving typical examples for people to recognize and distinguish, as well as specifically laying out the core of the preaching content of each phase. Sometimes, I also let leaders of any level answer questions. This prompts them to put effort into the truth. Only then can the work of all churches be prevented from deviating from God’s intentions! You must be principled in your work and you should understand what to do to coordinate with the work of the Holy Spirit and keep up with its pace. You should learn from failure, learn some real things, and master some real skills. Only working in such a way will your work achieve actual results. In your service, you must regularly communicate related truths when giving an account of the work. This is imperative for resolving problems and entering into the truth because this is a display of loyalty to God and having a sense of responsibility. It is the unique style of the work of people who truly serve God and the distinguishing feature of the work of Christ’s servants, something that puts religious people to shame. All those who are adept at communicating the truth in their work will surely achieve results and their words will also have authority. Only such people are worthy of being labeled servants of Christ and are Christ’s true witnesses.
Note: After receiving this communication, you must gain a deep understanding of the substance of the problem of only discussing work but not communicating the truth. You also have to integrate related truths to clearly communicate this problem, as well as how you personally practice this and what erroneous practice methods you use. You must clearly discern the dangers in erroneous practice methods of only going through the motions and achieving no results, and also know how to achieve results through the practice of using the truth to resolve problems. Every leader or worker has to write an article on their genuine understanding of this.
