Relationship with God | Only Those Who Achieve Three Criteria Are Qualified to Be Used by God
After all levels of leaders and workers in God’s family have undergone thorough revision, although the majority elected to be pastoral decision-making team members and district level leaders and workers may be suitable for their posts, and may receive the endorsement and approval of God’s chosen people, they are still unable to achieve the criteria that would make them genuinely qualified to be used by God, and can only maintain work.
These people have too shallow an understanding of the truth and no true knowledge of God, and they are unable to use the truth to resolve problems and unable to serve God or bear witness for Him, so they are still not qualified to be used by God. Those who serve God must be clear that only by meeting God’s requirements in the performance of their duties can they satisfy God. Those who serve God must possess the truth, and have true knowledge of God, and only then will they be able to use the truth to resolve problems. Only using the truth to resolve problems is truly bearing witness for God and exalting God, and only then can you bring people before God. Only achieving this result in your work can make you someone who truly serves God and who is qualified to be used by God. Therefore, when someone does not possess the truth and has no true knowledge of God, then they can never be qualified to be used by God, and this is for certain. The three criteria of being qualified to be used by God are reaffirmed here below:
1. Only by genuinely understanding the truth can one fellowship the truth clearly and use it to resolve problems. The result of this aspect of work depends on whether or not the leader can gain the recognition and confirmation of their co-workers and subordinates. If their co-workers and subordinates are all able to be well watered and supplied by them, can derive much benefit from them, and can truly approve and admire them in their hearts, then this proves that the leader understands the truth clearly, and is able to achieve the result of using the truth to resolve problems.
2. Those who are qualified to be used by God are able to select and use the majority of people accurately, without error, and completely in conformity with God’s will. Specific expressions are: 1) They are able to cultivate and place into important positions those with a high caliber, with real ability, with leadership ability and practical experience, thus providing God’s family with ample people worth cultivating. 2) They can not only select and use people impartially, but can also treat people fairly, are good-natured and honest, can remain impartial, and moreover their co-workers and subordinates can all corroborate this.
3. Those who are qualified to be used by God are able to obey God and exalt God as great in their hearts, are devoted only to God, have no human status in their hearts; they are able to fear God in their hearts and work in strict accordance with the above’s work arrangements and they do not deviate from what is expected, but achieve real results, enabling the majority of God’s chosen people to live the real church life, to enter into the reality of God’s words and to completely attain salvation. They are therefore able to gain the approval and support of the majority of their co-workers and subordinates.
To sum up these three criteria: The first is that one must possess the truth, be able to fellowship the truth clearly, and be able to use the truth to resolve problems; the second is that they must be able to see through the essence of people’s natures, know how to discern between different people and how to use them appropriately. They can use people accurately, and use people who are just right for the duty. All people they select and use are people who pursue the truth, who are able to attain salvation and be perfected—only selecting and using people in this way conforms to God’s will; the third criterion is to be able to obey God absolutely, to be devoted only to God, to have no human status in their heart, and to have the majority of God’s chosen people corroborate that they are someone who reveres God, obeys God, and who possesses both the truth and humanity. These three criteria measure whether or not leaders of all levels meet the standards and principles to be used by God. Only those who achieve these three criteria are truly qualified to be used by God. If one cannot achieve these three criteria, then one is not qualified to be used by God. As we all know, God always hopes to gain more people who are capable of being at the helm and carrying out God’s will. It is a shame that people who are capable of being at the helm are so few and, add to that people being jealous and excluding others, and people like this are even harder to find and place in important positions. What are the criteria for being at the helm? It can be said that only those who are qualified to be used by God are capable of being at the helm. That is, only those who can be used by God and who can carry out God’s will are capable of being at the helm. What does it take to be someone capable of being at the helm? Of course, these are the three criteria. Only those who truly possess the truth, who have gained the truth and who truly know God are capable of being at the helm and are qualified to be used by God—this is for sure. More specifically, only those who have been perfected are capable of being at the helm; those who are capable of being at the helm are those who can carry out God’s will and, of course, are those who truly know God. We seek to be perfected with the aim of being used by God to carry out God’s will, therefore those who are capable of being at the helm must at least possess these three criteria. Of course, the criteria for being able to be at the helm are founded upon the three criteria of being qualified to be used by God, only the practical effects are a little more concrete and complete. The specific descriptions are here below:
1. Those who are capable of being at the helm must be those who possess the truth. Only those who possess the truth can achieve the three criteria, and the three criteria are built upon the foundation of possessing the truth. If someone only understands a little of the truth and can only fellowship some experiential knowledge, then this does not mean that they possess the truth. Those who genuinely possess the truth are those who know God, who can grasp God’s will, who can obey God absolutely, who love God, revere God and who are of one mind with God, whose hearts are not restricted by any person, matter or thing, and who can see through all issues. In complicated and confusing environments they still know what to do to conform to God’s will, they absolutely cannot be deceived by Satan, they know how to discern all manner of satanic philosophies and fallacies that deceive people, and moreover are able to use the truth to refute and dissect them. Only people like this are competent to lead God’s chosen people to follow God, and only people like this are worthy of being called leaders.
2. Those who are capable of being at the helm are able to see through any corrupt man, they can distinguish between all types of people, know what people to use and how to use them, and what people not to use and how to treat them. They can assign people to their proper posts and treat people with complete wisdom. Because those who are capable of being at the helm possess the truth, they are able to see through the essence of any problem, and they know how to use the truth to resolve problems. Only those who are capable of being at the helm, therefore, are the true leaders of God’s chosen people. Those who do not possess the truth, even if they are church leaders of all levels, are not true leaders, but are only capable of performing the duty of maintaining work.
3. Those who are capable of being at the helm are those who truly know God. Because they have true knowledge of God’s disposition and essence, they therefore know how to bear witness for God and exalt God, and they understand how to fulfill the essential work of serving God in order to carry out God’s will, and to truly bring God’s chosen people before Him and onto the right track of belief in God. Those who are capable of being at the helm, while they serve God and perform their duties, they do not need God to compel them or supervise them, but can obey God and be devoted to God, and handle matters in a way that puts God’s mind at ease—this is the real stature of those who are capable of being at the helm. Only those who are capable of being at the helm can serve God as priests. Therefore, in order to be qualified to be used by God, one must do one’s utmost to pursue the truth and be absolutely clear on all aspects of the truth—only in this way can one be said to possess the truth. Someone who genuinely possesses the truth is actually someone who has already been perfected by God, and is someone who is genuinely qualified to be used by God. If someone does not experience a change in their life disposition, then they will be unable to reach the criteria of possessing the truth. When someone can fellowship some knowledge concerning the truth, it can only be said that they understand a little of the truth, and they are actually still very far from a genuine understanding of the truth; only those who have been perfected by God can be said to have understood the truth and gained the truth.
Currently amongst leaders and workers of all levels in the church, not even one person is truly able to reach the criteria of being qualified to be used by God, they are just in the cultivation and training stage. Because most people’s understanding of the truth is too shallow, their powers of discernment are limited, they cannot clearly discern false Christs and antichrists and, in particular, they are not able to thoroughly discern or dissect satanic philosophies and all kinds of fallacies, and they do not take a very accurate view of those who are able to be perfected by God. They therefore always feel selecting and using people to be very difficult and strenuous. Although they have undergone a period of training and have progressed a little, their statures are still too immature, and are far from reaching the stature of someone who can be at the helm. If they train for a further three or five years and become absolutely clear on all aspects of the truth, are able to discern and dissect all manner of satanic philosophies and poisons, and are able to see through the essence of any person’s nature, then only this is a genuine understanding of the truth. When someone can use the truth to resolve problems, and moreover they constantly advance deeper in their fellowshiping of the truth, using their gradually deepening experience and knowledge to lead God’s chosen people into God’s words so that they know God, then only those who possess this ability are those who are capable of being at the helm. You now see this clearly, right? Are those who do not possess the truth capable of being at the helm?
Members of pastoral decision-making teams and district decision-making teams must be people who possess the truth and who have the ability to work, they must fellowship the truth clearly, and have strong powers of discernment and dissection. Only seeing and selecting people accurately and without error will do—having an ordinary caliber absolutely will not do. If someone working in a pastoral district uses someone wrongly, they could well-nigh lose everything. Leaders of all levels lead many people, so selecting and using a leader incorrectly will harm the lives of so many! God-fearing people absolutely would not dare to gamble with or make a joke of the lives of God’s chosen people. Out of leaders and workers of all levels, all those who pursue the truth, who inherently possess leadership ability and powers of discernment, and who have God-fearing hearts, must be well cultivated and watered to enable them to be used by God and be perfected—only this conforms to God’s will.
If you want to be qualified to be used by God, then you must seek to be perfected and do your utmost to pursue the truth. Those who are genuinely absolutely clear on all aspects of the truth, who enable God’s chosen people to understand the truth and constantly advance deeper with God’s words, who enable them to constantly advance deeper with life experiences and attain salvation—only they are qualified to be used by God. If pastoral decision-making team members and district decision-making team members have an understanding of the truth that is too shallow, can they then lead God’s chosen people into the truth? Leaders must fellowship the truth in a way that elicits the satisfaction and admiration of God’s chosen people, and only then can God’s chosen people acknowledge in their hearts that you are a leader, that you absolutely have what it takes to be a leader and are worthy of the name. If you can’t fellowship the truth much better than ordinary brothers and sisters, then how can you lead God’s chosen people? All those who fellowship the truth in a way that cannot supply people or satisfy them, and that cannot enable God’s chosen people to enter into the reality of God’s words, are not qualified to be used by God, and this is for certain. Only those who are able to fellowship the truth in a way that constantly advances deeper and which supplies God’s chosen people are those who have the work of the Holy Spirit. If someone is unable to fellowship the truth in a way that gradually advances deeper while they lead God’s chosen people, then they are not a real leader and can only maintain work, for leaders without the work of the Holy Spirit are false leaders and false shepherds. Whomsoever always possesses reality and light in their fellowshiping of the truth, who constantly advances deeper and allows people to reap great benefits, and who ultimately can enable God’s chosen people to know God and thereby attain salvation, only these people are genuinely qualified to be used by God, and only people like this are truly capable of being at the helm.
