34 Almighty God’s Word Has Conquered the Arrogant Me

I was born into a Christian family. I’m 50 years old. Since the 1970s, I had begun to serve God fervently. At that time, there weren’t many believers, so I became a leader in my twenties. I had joined several denominations, and in the end, I joined the “Shouters.” I thought that the messages of Witness Lee were the highest and best, and no one else could compare with him in the religious world. I treated his spiritual books as treasures. Whenever I got those books, I was very proud as no one else around me had them. Because I had some biblical knowledge, others all spoke highly of my preachings. Everyone said that I had love for the Lord and was a good “shepherd.” I thought that I would certainly be an elder in the “Shouters,” and would certainly be raptured in the future. I spent more than thirty years in a life of “enjoying the respect and support of others” and became more and more arrogant. I especially looked down upon people of other denominations and didn’t even want to talk to them. I always thought, “What do they know? They have nothing but the Bible. Can they unlock it by their mind? They are all ignorant peasants.”

This way, ignorant humanity will become able to bear witness to Me that it is not I who corrupt humanity, and only I—the Lord of creation—can save humanity, can bestow upon man things for their enjoyment; and they will come to know that I am the Ruler of all things and Satan is merely one of the beings that I created and that later turned against Me. My six-thousand-year management plan is divided into three stages so as to achieve the following effect: to enable My creations to become My witnesses, to comprehend My will, and to know that I am the truth.

I was once a co-worker in the Praise Church. I remember that when I had just believed in the Lord, a preacher said, “Our generation is the most blessed and can be raptured alive to meet the Lord in the air. The Lord is right at the door now….” Since then, I had been expecting the day of the Lord’s coming. I made a resolution before the Lord that I would wait for Him until His coming. Year after year went by, but the Lord had yet to come. Gradually, our heart grew ever more distant from God, and we were all in a slack, dozy, or lethargic condition in our spirit. At that time, I heard someone spread the news that “God has become flesh in China.” Just when I wanted to see whether it was true, our leader said, “It is a heresy, a cult. If you accept it, you will not have good days. Upon hearing his words, I thought: I will not allow the heresy to take me away. I must stand witness to the Lord.

In this way, regardless of who they are, everyone must submit under the dominion of God, everyone must live under God’s command, and no one can escape from His control.

I was formerly a shepherding worker of the “Hua Xuehe sect.” At the end of 1997, the leader said in a meeting, “Now there is a ‘Reaper Church.’ They believe in a ‘queen,’ who is called Almighty God. It’s a mafia, which has guns and cannons and pays its members. If you don’t accept their way after listening to their message, they will kill your whole family! …” Hearing this, I said at once, “The Bible doesn’t say God is female. It must be a false Christ, a deceiver!” After the meeting, I called the church workers together and conveyed every word of the leader to them. And I told them again and again, “No one can listen to Almighty God’s message! Whoever listens is an apostate and will be expelled at once!” Even so, I was still worried, and I often went to inspect the churches in case some believers would listen to the message of Almighty God.
