I was a peasant. As my family was poor, I kept working everywhere to make money, just wanting to live a better life through my own labor. However, in real life I saw that the lawful rights and interests of a rural worker like me couldn’t be guaranteed at all. My wages were often withheld for no reason. Deceived and exploited by others again and again, I couldn’t get the payment I deserved for a year’s hard work. I felt that the world was too dark! People lived by the law of the jungle like animals and contended with and fought against each other. There was simply no place for me to live. In 1999, I was fortunate to accept Almighty God’s end-time work. Through reading God’s word, I felt God’s holy, honorable, and righteous disposition, and knew that all these words are the expression of God’s life being. I had inexpressible moving in my heart. 10. Principles of Prayer to God

1. The true significance of prayer to God is to understand the truth and attain obedience to God and worship of God. You must not, under any circumstances, engage in religious ceremony.

2. You must draw upon your practical difficulties and problems when praying to God. You must not depart from reality and speak empty words, or talk of letters and doctrines.

3. You must frequently pray to God about the problems of performing your duty and entering into life, seeking to understand the truth and enter reality.

4. There must be reverence for God in your prayers, and you must be reasonable. You may not make demands of God, coerce God, or take advantage of God, much less may you make trades with God.

I’m Liu Zhen, aged 78 this year. I’m an ordinary Christian in the Church of Almighty God. Thank Almighty God for choosing me, a rural old woman looked down upon by the worldly people. 1. You perform your duty willingly and happily, and only in order to repay God’s love, without trying to make a trade or get something in return. You carry out the work of God’s commission with a heart that loves God.

2. You loyally perform all the duties that you are able to perform and ought to perform, earnestly taking responsibility, striving for the very best, and not being perfunctory or messing around.

3. In performing your duty, you are able to devote all your efforts, pay any price, and endure any pain, remaining faithful to God’s commission from beginning to end.

4. In performing your duty, you are able to uphold God’s work. At a minimum, you are able to ensure that the work of the house of God is not interfered with, and that the lives of God’s chosen people are not harmed; in this principle, this is the very least that is asked of you.
